Why this, not something else? Every decision answers.

Open any recommendation and Cascand shows why it won, who else competed for your attention and waited, and the evidence behind the call, with facts, reads on the facts and guesses labeled separately. Disagree, and it records your reason. A decision you can challenge is one you can trust.

  • Research the account · Daniel Brooks
Cascand judged more research unlikely to change the call, so it skipped it and kept the reason.
  • Ask for an introduction · Jordan Ellis
The route runs through someone you have already asked twice this quarter, which counts against it. Waits.
  • Follow up on the stalled deal · Nina Shah
The last real signal is 94 days old, and old evidence counts for less. It falls below the bar for your attention today.
  • Follow up · Adrian Cole
You asked Cascand to hold this until November 3.
  • How close was it
A clear choice. Nothing else was within reach of Maya today.
  • What came of it
Maya replied. Recorded as observed from your mailbox, not declared.

A hold you set or a preference you state is applied the next time Cascand plans, before any pattern has a say.

This is the record Cascand keeps. The product’s own screen shows less of it.

How it works

How you challenge a decision.

  1. Step 1

    Read why it is first.

The reasons are written in plain words: what is active, how strong the relationship is, what just changed, how long since anyone spoke to them. Reasons you can agree or disagree with in five seconds.

  2. Step 2

    See who waited, and why.

The others that competed for your attention today are listed with the reason each one was set aside: stale information, a favor that would be overused, research that would not change anything.

  3. Step 3

    Separate fact from guess.

Behind the call, what Cascand knows is labeled as a confirmed fact, a read on the facts, or a guess. You always know how much to trust what you are looking at.

  4. Step 4

    Say no, and say why.

Wrong timing, wrong person, already handled, not worth it. Pick one and move on. Your reason joins the record and counts toward what Cascand learns.

In your hands

What you control.

  • The final call, every time.
  • The reason you give when you disagree.
  • What Cascand is allowed to do at all. Inspecting a decision never changes that.
What it needs

Nothing you have to set up. The record is kept from the first decision, with what Cascand saw, what it considered, which version of your model made the call, and what happened afterward. It stays yours.

Questions

Questions people ask.

Is this a score?
No. Cascand gives you the reasons, and you can disagree with each one.
Can I see decisions from last month?
Yes. The record of every decision and what came of it stays in your account.
Does disagreeing change anything?
A preference you state takes effect at once. Your reasons stay in the record with the decision they answer. Who Cascand may contact and what counts as proof never change.
