We use almost none of these. Here is exactly what exists.

Many companies use this page to describe a long list of advertising and tracking technology. This page is short because Cascand does not use any of that. We would rather tell you plainly what actually happens than publish a policy for tools we do not run.

Our marketing website (https://cascand.io)

This site does not set any advertising or tracking cookie, and it does not load a third-party analytics or advertising script. It records a small number of first-party usage events, such as which page loaded and whether a button was clicked, so we can tell whether the site is working. This is not stored in a cookie and is not shared with an advertising company or used to build a profile of you across other websites.

The Cascand application

Once you sign in, the application keeps you signed in using your browser's local storage rather than a cookie. This holds your session token and a small amount of information about which account you are acting on behalf of. It stays on your device, is used only to operate the Service for you, and is cleared when you sign out or clear your browser's site data.

Fonts

This site loads a small number of typefaces from an outside font service. Loading a font this way can reveal your general network address to that service, the same way loading an image from any external server would.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics, advertising, or a similar technology that uses cookies, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before it runs.
