A closed loop: Cascand records what happened and adjusts a little.
Cascand records what happens after each action and what you say when you skip one. Patterns can nudge a few things a little: how it spreads its search effort, how long actions take you, and how many days it waits before a follow-up. A change needs evidence from several different situations, moves a small step at a time, and is shown with its evidence.
How it works
How the loop closes.
- Step 1
Every result is recorded and labeled.
Confirmed by the system that did the work, declared by you, or observed from outside. One is never quietly upgraded into another.
- Step 2
Skips carry a reason.
When you skip a recommendation and say why, the reason is recorded and counts toward what Cascand learns.
- Step 3
A few things can adjust, a little.
Search effort, how long your own work takes, and follow-up spacing can each move, only after enough evidence from different situations, and only a small step at a time.
- Step 4
Your stated preferences apply at once.
A preference you state takes effect immediately. Learned changes are shown to you read-only, with the evidence behind them.
In your hands
What you control.
- Your stated preferences, which take effect at once.
- What you record and why you skip.
- What Cascand can do at all: learning never changes who it may contact or what counts as proof.
Learning needs outcomes to learn from. It starts cautious and stays small.
