Act

Follow-ups and reply handling that keep deals moving.

Follow-ups are part of the same decision as everything else Cascand weighs. Cascand notices when someone has gone quiet, prepares the follow-up in the channel you used, stops after a few tries and hands the decision back to you, and holds off when someone asks for time. A commitment you make in your own words becomes a dated follow-up.

How it works

How follow-ups and replies work.

  1. Step 1

    Silence is noticed.

A follow-up is an action Cascand proposes per relationship, and it competes for your next minute like any other. Follow-ups you owe are funded before anything new.

  2. Step 2

It follows up where you spoke.

A follow-up you said you would make by phone becomes a call task, never an email. Written follow-ups are drafted through the same checks as every other message.

  3. Step 3

It stops after a few tries.

After a small number of attempts Cascand hands the decision back to you and never abandons a relationship on its own.

  4. Step 4

    Replies change the plan.

When a prospect says they are out of the office or asks you to wait, Cascand holds them until the date that makes sense and tells you. When they ask for a meeting, that reply competes for your next minute right away. A no stops the next touch.

In your hands

What you control.

  • How persistent Cascand is, in How You Work.
  • Every follow-up draft before it goes.
  • Any hold or resume date, which you can change.
What it needs

Reply handling works with your connected mailbox. When Cascand is not sure what a reply means, it passes it to you as an ordinary reply.

Questions

Questions people ask.

Is this a sequence?
No. Cascand decides each follow-up as part of the same ranking as everything else, so a fixed cadence never overrides what is worth doing today.
What happens if someone says they are out of office?
Cascand holds them until the date that makes sense, tells you, and brings them back when it is time.
Will Cascand keep following up forever?
No. After a few tries it hands the decision back to you.
